COURSE: First Aid (There are three main components comprising a 2 Day Course or a 1 Day Refresher) In the case of the Electrical Industry where CPR must be revalidated every six months, candidates can complete CPR training and one quarter of the First Aid every six months, and in two years, have refreshed the First Aid course also.

Assessment
A multi-choice questionnaire completed at the end of each module. Practical assessment is on going through out the course
Comments
These unit standards can be taught as individual modules but to complete Unit Standard 6400 there is a pre-requisite of holding US6401 and US6401 has a pre-requisite of US6402. To complete these individual unit standards, the course duration per unit standard is approx. 4 - 5 hours
